    To support Build Africa’s Learn to Read project we asked you to share what inspires you to make a difference. For every story submitted, we gave one book to a child in Uganda and funded 3 mini libraries across primary schools in Uganda benefiting 17,000+ students.

    WILEY #IWASINSPIRED CAMPAIGN RULES

     

    1.  CAMPAIGN ELIBILITY: Wiley #iwasinspired story Campaign (the “Campaign”) is open to all participants worldwide, who are at least 18 years old at the time of participation (each a “Participant”).

    Void where prohibited by law.

    2. CAMPAIGN PERIOD: The Campaign begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on January 24, 2019 and ends at 11:59 p.m. EDT on February 24, 2019.

    3.  SPONSOR and ADMINISTRATOR: John Wiley & Sons Limited, The Atrium, Southern Gate, Chichester, West Sussex, PO19 8SQ, UK. 

    4. CAMPAIGN SUBMISSION:

    a.  To participate in the campaign, share one of the videos of this campaign (“Videos”) by retweeting or sharing with hashtag #iwasinspired on Twitter and/or share through our microsite http://iwasinspired.hscampaigns.com. Your Twitter account must be public in order for the hashtag to be seen.

    b. Each Participant may only (i) share or retweet one Video with hashtag #iwasinspired on Twitter, or (ii) share one Video on Twitter through the microsite http://iwasinspired.hascampaigns.com, per hour during the Campaign Period.

    5.  DONATION: For each Video shared or retweeted post, Sponsor will make a donation of GBP £1.37 up to a maximum of GBP £3,000, to the Build Africa’s Learn to Read project in Uganda, which delivers books and resources to young children.

     6.  INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:

    Wiley or its licensors retain ownership of all intellectual property rights, including without limitation the copyright, in all the Videos and only grant Participants the right to use the Videos in accordance with these terms.

    7.  DISCLAIMER AND INDEMNIFICATION: By participating in this Campaign, Participants agree to be bound by these Campaign Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by participants, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Campaign; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the submission process or the Campaign; or (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Campaign or the processing of submissions.

    Participants, by participating in this Campaign, hereby waive and release, and agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless, Sponsor and its respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents, and their respective successors and assigns (the “Indemnified Parties”), from and against, any and all rights, claims and causes of action whatsoever that may have, or which may arise, against any of them for any liability to any matter, cause or thing whatsoever, including, but not limited to any injury, loss, damage, whether direct, compensatory, incidental or consequential, to person, including death and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from their participation in the Campaign .

    8.  PERSONAL INFORMATION: The personal information collected through the Campaign is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at http://www.wiley.com/WileyCDA/Section/id-301465.html. By participating in this Campaign, Participants consent to the use of their personal data as set out in the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy 

    9.  AGREEMENT TO CAMPAIGN RULES: By participating in this Campaign, each Participant unconditionally agrees to and accepts these Campaign Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Campaign.

    10.  LAW AND VENUE: The laws of the country set forth below shall apply according to each Participant’s country of residence, without regard to conflicts of law rules. The corresponding jurisdiction shall be the forum for adjudication of all disputes arising in connection with this agreement.
